The expression “Support us” in this particular context means that we would like to help ourselves. Indeed, we would like to get a chance to listen MUSIC performed by Andrei Gavrilov. We actually find it vitally important to enjoy that kind of MUSIC and to be able to share it with our friends throughout the world.
We – the fans of Andrei Gavrilov – know better than anybody else that Andrei managed to accumulate the quintessence of European artistic taste that was born 500 years ago during the Renaissance period and the technique of performance going back to Johann Sebastian Bach. His deep understanding of music is the result of his lifetime work aimed at the development of his musical taste and refining his intellect.
In the summer of 2016, German-Canadian documentalist Jo-Anne Velin managed to sneak with her camera into the upper-level balcony of the concert hall in Bristol where Andrei Gavrilov was performing together with the Bristol Ensemble and recorded the below video. We are infinitely grateful to her for that, and yes, the world stands on such “crazy” enthusiasts.
Luckily, we have got “our man” in Andrei’s household – his son Arseny who kindly agreed to help us.
With the funds that we are going to raise we will buy the equipment needed for our recording project.
According to Arseny who is a prudent young man (he is Swiss after all), we need the following:
The total cost of the above equipment comes to 2400 Swiss Francs (CHF) which equals $ 2.500 (USD).
On our Thank you page we will list all the participants (benefactors) of our projects and show the amount of funds already raised.
“The passion for music is only the first step of the staircase you need to climb up to be rewarded with its understanding” (Andrei Gavrilov).
