Classical music, performed through an informed consciousness opens new avenues, new ways of communicating. Such music germinates new ideas, reaches deep into listeners’ minds and leads mankind to reach towards higher levels of development. It is pleasing to the ear, it makes everyone happier. It makes me happier.
Unconsciously, performance committed to “perfection”, even of “perfect” music, can engender aesthetic and emotional stimulation, even excitement. But this same unconscious can create frustration, potentially creating a conscious disappointment. Because we can never be fully aware of all our emotion. And in the end, the unawareness leaves you somewhat wanting, a feeling of inner emptiness. This can be a bit devastating.
